A portrait void of sounds - EQ revisited

A portrait void of sounds Originally uploaded by Ejaz.

I have been to various hospitals and wards and seen many patients but never have I found such silence and agony on the faces of these earthquake victims. Even we would sleep at 8-9'O clock with soft whispers or silent thoughts. A typical doctor's attendance in those days was around 400 which is mighty frustrating and mind-boggling in normal circumstances. And two weeks later when we returned, the only thought that kept our minds occupied was "was it all enough? Did we really do enough?" To this day, I couldn't find the answer. By the photographer
